Probus Clubs in Western Australia

The Probus Association of Western Australia are proud to have as a patron of our association His Excellency The Honourable Kim Beazley AC, Governor of Western Australia.

Active seniors join Probus Clubs for intellectual stimulation from listening to informed speakers going on outings and joining together with other members for fellowship. New Clubs are created regularly to cater for the needs of active seniors who want to keep their minds active, to expand their interests and to enjoy the fellowship of Probus friends.  Probus Clubs have monthly meetings with stimulating guest speakers. Clubs also arrange a wide variety of outings and events.

The Probus Association of Western Australia was formed in 1984 by statewide Probus Clubs  to support their operation in WA.

All Probus Clubs in WA have elected to join the Association.

Probus Clubs are sponsored by Rotary Clubs and on formation become self governing bodies within the limits of their Club’s Probus Constitution, the clubs are non-political, non-sectarian and non-fundraising.

There are Men’s, Ladies’ and Combined Probus Clubs. While most Clubs are in the Perth metropolitan there are also many Clubs in regional areas.
